Is there a product out there than is a mini lathe short the motor. I have a 2.25 DC motor, PWM Drive Board, and speed control board. I would be great if there were a mini lathe made that had a v grooved pulley on the end that one could hook up those components to. Is there?
Thanks, Domenic Re: DIY Mini Lathe

I suppose you could buy any rod lathe minus the motor, but the cost difference would be slight at best. As far as wood turning mini-lathes, they come as they are, most complete with motor and the prices are so low at this point that you probablyl aren't paying more than $30 to $40 for the motor anyway. You could always swap out to what you have now if you prefer it.
