That was a great thread. Thanks Mike Neal for posting that Fuji chart. I found it very informative. You know what would be cool is to have someone do an indepth test with a number of the different brands of guides. Test them for grooving, heat dissipating, etc, especially with the braided lines which seem to be popular with both the fresh and saltwater anglers. Take some of the Fuji, Pac Bay, American, whatever.
It would make an interesting article and useful reference. Anyone want to "tackle" it. I bet RodMaker would run it as an article. Buzz Butters Re: hardloy against alconite - again - test maybe?

I would only run it if it was a truly scientific test, set up and conducted according to rigid and accepted testing standards. But if it was, then yes, I would consider publishing it.
