Does anyone besides me find it hard to wrap guides with poly neon #40? I finished a 2wt not long ago and found it hard to get good tight wraps with it. I know this very well could be just my inexperience. I wasn't terribly happy with my results.

That's because it's a little stretchy. I had the same problems, it does take some gettin gused to - I've only done 2 rods with it for guide wraps so far, and am still in the process of adapting to using it for that.

That's all I use for my guide wraps and weaves , I like the large color selection. I think you'll find that you have to pack it as you go a little more than the standard wrapping threads but after you do a few rods you won't have any trouble.
