Recently I ran across something that any digital photographer could benefit from - Canon Camera Company has a very impressive online tutorial/lessons for owners of their various digital cameras. However, even though they are written with the company's own camera line in mind, they contain a wealth of across the board information on taking good digital photos. Everything from the file formats and sizes needed for the intended purpose of your photos, to the relationship between aperature, depth of field, "film" speed (ISO) exposure time, etc. I don't think I've seen anything else online that was this concise and yet this helpful to anyone who takes digital photos.
Here are two links that you may wish to check out. The first is very helpful and consists of about 50 short lessons on digital photography. While it's intended for owners of the Canon Digital Rebel EOS camera, it has tons of info that any budding digital photographer will benefit from. If you want to take better photos of your rods, you should spend some time reading these short lessons. [www.photoworkshop.com] The next link pertains to a series of tips on how to handle and use just about any digital camera. It also includes one particularly good lesson on the differences between jpeg and RAW images files and how to adjust RAW images for best results. Good stuff. [www.photoworkshop.com] And just like this site, it's all accessable at no charge. ....... Re: Better Digital Photographs
