Turk's head knot

I have the url showing the anamation of tying the knot, and in the end, you turn the knot over and end it. I would like to make a long knot, (something like the pliers on the photo page) but am unsure how to start the next knot after completing the last step in the anamation??!! Do you not do that last step until you have completed the length you want??? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Art
