How durable are flocked grips/seats? Will they stand up to daily fishing abuse (boat or bank fishing)? Does a flocked grip/seat hurt the sensitivity of a rod? Re: Flocking question

Good flocked grips are among the most durable grips you can obtain (or make). The amount of weight they add is minscule and will not harm sensitivity. Of course, it all depends on what the underlying grip material is. Flock over cork or balsa are the most popular and provide very lightweight grips.
