I hit a refresh a bit ago just as it happened and thought my puter lost its mind. After a bit of panic, I noticed the photo page link was gone and figured something changed..

You should be able to set the type size per your internet browser. We'll play with the colors a bit but I think this is much easier on the eyes. We'll see how it goes.

Tom,

Even when I change text size in my browser, it doesn't affect the size on this site. I really like the rest of the changes

The text is the same size that it has always been. It has been changed to a sans-serif typeface which is definitely harder to read. We may consider moving it to a standard serif face once other things have been taken care of.

Font sizes have a lot to do with your browser. With Safari, you just click on the text enlarge button - each click knocks the type size up by 1 point. Or you go the other way and each click knocks it down by 1 point. I haven't used Explorer or Netscape in a long time so I really can't be sure how those browsers settle on the type size you see, but there should be some way to change it to your liking.

Text Size/ Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer has a "View/Text Size" feature, but it doesn't work on this board, at least not on my computer - nothing changes when I change the default size. I agree with Mike that the font is a bit small (for my 66-year-old eyes). At least on the main page, seems to be larger or to read better when reading the actual messages.
