pole tip

Hello, I have a problem... I am currently working on a pole. But I have glued the tip on crooked with 5 min. epoxy. Is there any way to fix my problem???

Use heat on the tip. Heat with a alcohol burner or cigarette lighter. Twist the tip as your heating and it should twist off (that's how you replace broken tips.
Don't get too hot!!

Kind of a good spot for an extra person to help; at least the first time. Have one person hold the rod while putting twisting and pulling pressure on the tip top. Have the other person add the heat to the tip top off to the side (not underneath) of the barrel. Pass the heat slowly back and forth along the barrel of the tip top. Too much heat will wreck the 3/4" or so of the tip of the rod. If you're careful, you'll have no problem-the tip will pop off and no damage will be done.

Hot water is safer... bring to a boil dip in the tip top and try to loosen.
Increase the time it's "dunked" until it's loose. Should not take more than 30 seconds.
