Happy New Year and...

Happy New Year to all members of the rod building family. Last year was a great year for rod builders; there were so many new products available to use and so many new patterns of thread art for us to view. This coming year will be better. Maybe ESPN will have a feature on rod building. As for me, I am starting the year by going fly fishing this afternoon.
Cheers everyone, Ellis

Hope you had a great day Ellis; time for me to sign off and crawl into a tree for the evening hunt.

It was a very, very nice 65 degree day here in Maryland -- and yes I went fly fishing. I even went fish catching. I took a nice brown trout from a stream up near the Pennsylvania line = beautiful 16" fish that went back for spring.

Had a white Christmas on the Texas Gulf Coast, but it's in the 70's now!

Must be time to fish?

Happy New Year!
