There is no replacement for the Austin series. Spacings to get you started can be found at some of the other manufacturer's sites, such as St. Croix, but you'll want to do a static distribution test to make sure you have the guides in the optimum number and locations.
Andy Dear at Lamar Reel Seats (link to left) may also have some recommended spacings for the Austin fly rod blanks. ................ Re: all star austin BAF9010-3

St Croix's site will give you a spacing of a similar blank or rod and many suppliers have them. BUT this is only a Starting Point. Check out the Libray Page for The Concept Guide Placement articals. These will tell you how to place your guides Re: all star austin BAF9010-3

Stephen,
I have the guide spacings for the Austin Series posted on my website. You can view them at: [www.lamarreelseats.com] Remember, it's only the finished flyrods that are discontinued...the actual blanks are still in production and available for us builders to take advantage of! Please let me know if I can help with anything else! Andy Dear Lamar Reel Seats www.lamarreelseats.com Re: all star austin BAF9010-3
