Good idea! I would like to see some variations of grips for spinning and casting rods as well. Anything in the future?

Hey Larry. I've not seen you around in a very long time. How are things going? Shoot me an email.

Oh, and I agree. The grip templates are great. I'd like to see more of that.

Yes, I'm going to cover all sorts of things, even simple butt and foregrips for casting rods. Many just find it easier if they have some specs to use as a starting point. We'll have at least one if not two templates in each issue from now on.

Another great feature!!!!! The first thing that I did with mine was to scan the template, print it out and laminate it. That way, I will be able to just keep them together in my work room and won't have to continually dig and mess up my magazines.
Tom, I hope that doesn't violate any copyright policies

Mike

As long as you don't send it to other people, you're perfectly fine.

I'm going to improve the layout for the templates as we go along. I'm not yet sure of the very best way to present them and some will have to be done on 1/2 scale due to magazine size limitations. But I also think it's a good feature. In time we can build a library of hundres of spec rod grips.

I think that it'a a super idea and great resource to have. If you made them half size, it would be easy for a subscriber to copy or scan it double size and laminate them

Mike

P.S. Tom, it would definately be for my own use. I like to keep my mags in good shape and don't want to have to keep pulling them out to measure my grips on, so I thought that copying and laminating them would be handy for me
