None of the Gudebrod colors results in a medium or dark olive green wrap. Can anyone recommend a thread that does? I do not use color preserver. Re: Looking For Olive Winding Thread

Angler's Workshop has a nice olive thread that I've used with great results. You can get more information on it and other unique colors by visiting their web site. Re: Looking For Olive Winding Thread

IF you're building light fly weight, or light FW rod, I think you might be able to use Rod WRapping thread, possibly silk? THis is a guess on my part. Re: Looking For Olive Winding Thread

Hit a sewing store if you have one in your area and see what they have in Sulky, Madeira or Robison-Anton. That's what I do if I'm looking for a particular shade of color. Re: Looking For Olive Winding Thread

I used the Angler's Workshop thread on an olive colored rod and was very happy with the results. Check them out, - Dave Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
