Looking For Olive Winding Thread

None of the Gudebrod colors results in a medium or dark olive green wrap. Can anyone recommend a thread that does? I do not use color preserver.

Angler's Workshop has a nice olive thread that I've used with great results. You can get more information on it and other unique colors by visiting their web site.

IF you're building light fly weight, or light FW rod, I think you might be able to use Rod WRapping thread, possibly silk? THis is a guess on my part.

Hit a sewing store if you have one in your area and see what they have in Sulky, Madeira or Robison-Anton. That's what I do if I'm looking for a particular shade of color.

I used the Angler's Workshop thread on an olive colored rod and was very happy with the results. Check them out, - Dave
