Which way do Pac Bay stripping guides face?

I have Pac Pay double foot stripping guides and am not sure which way they are suppose to face when mounted on the blank. One side has a single foot that comes almost straight down from underneath the ring and then bends 90 degrees for the foot. The other side has two arms that comes off the sides of the ring and angles downward almost at a 45 degree angles to the double wide guide foot. Which side is suppose to go towards the butt end? Thanks.

Single foot towards the tip.

Tim,

The double footed side goes toward the butt and the single goes toward the tip. That's the way I do them.

Neither way is right nor wrong, although most people do them just like Ted and Larry. The line is concerned with where the ring is, not which way the feet face.

But if you use single foot guides you never have to worry about that.

Using Lowrider guides, the butt guide is reversed. How would you determine what is 'reverse' using the above two methods? Just asking.
