Help, I couldn't find anything that would help me compare the ID's on regular snake guides to single foot loop snake guides not the ceramics. Id a snake 3 equal to a SF 3 or do you step up a size or two. thank you Gary

In my experience , they are the same. I have only used snakes once...my first rod . After reading so much about single foot guides with inserts the snakes were history, changed to SF with SIC . I still use single foot wire guides though , and I normaly order them according to the size of the rod . Smaller rods 0,1-3 , and the bigger get the bigger #. They are definetly not the same as incert type single foot guides. Hope I didn't confuse you , have fun . John

You should contact us or one of our many distributors for our 80 pg color component catalog. This catalog has alot of information inside that other catalogs do not have. We supply the consumer with information from Frame Material to height of each guide, with so much more in between. IMHO the most comprehensive catalog in the industry.
If anyone ever has any questions in regards to our product line please feel free to contact us.

Snake guides and single foot wire guides of a given size are basically the same. The differences aren't really worth bothering about. Ceramics is an entirely different game, but they're great.

Bill Batson is right, their catalog has a wealth of information in it. Nobody else tells you how tall the guides are let alone how long the foot is, but I just noticed they don't give the ID for snakes.
