Had a posting edited by the moderator last night. Would like to know what content required editing to avoid having information edited in the future.
Regards,

I didn't see your post so I really can't say. However, bad language, advertising for non-sponsors, prices, etc. are subject to being removed or edited. Of course, this still requires some amount of personal judgement on behalf of whoever is moderating the board.

Many times if you know that the information you wish to offer may be in that gray area where it might be removed, you can directly email the person asking the question via his or her email list on his or her post. That way you can make sure they get whatever information you wish them to have even if it might not be something that would conform to the rules on this board.

The info I posted had the name of a guide service - not a sponsor, and the cost to charterin it. Thx for the clarrification.

I probably would have left that sort of thing since it's not really a competing type business, but again, I didn't see it. Some of these things are grey areas and the judgement of the moderator is all I have to go on. Some things are pretty blank or white with regard to the rules, others not so.

I have two fellows that help out during certain times of the day. I couldn't possibly read or follow every post or thread.
