That's OK. How is your profile set up? If I click on my name it goes to my profile instead of the wright box in the email Re: Settings for email

If you register your name will lead to your profile (which contains your email address). If don't register, your name will open the users email program.
I do not like the registration feature of the new software - it has doubled my workload. We're still trying to find out what we can dump and what we have to keep. ............. Re: Settings for email

Bill: You can't unregister, but you can log out, then pull the board up again. But that won't help you, you will still get the profiles rather than direct email access of those who are registered. Re: Settings for email

Right. Once a person registers, anytime you click on their highlighted name, you'll be greeted by their profile page.
It's still too early to say whether we'll work with this particular software package or dump it in favor of something totally different. I've begun a search for more user friendly software with a better user interface. The thing is, the forum software game is competitive - the companies that write the software keep trying to one-up each other and they do that mostly by creating software that is more laden with features, convenient and useable or not. I find it very annoying but such is the game of forum software. .......... Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 12/19/2004 11:33AM by Tom Kirkman. Re: Settings for email

Heck Tom what about the blank buisness? Almost seems to be a fight between Pac Bay and American Tackle. They seem to be trying one up on each other. Then the computers in cars?? Give me a 55 chevy and I will listen to it and know when it needs a tune up. Darn computers quit right in the middle of you driving?? Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
