I am stripping a st. croix sc11 blank using a heat gun and my thumb nail. Getting marrs in the finish from my nail.Is there a paint finish on these blanks? Can i polish the marks out? Or would i be better off repainting and putting a finish over that before rewrapping Thanks John

John, take it to the plant and have it painted on Ecure!

John,
Most blanks do have a finish on them. If you can not get by their plant you can try some auto paint polish. I have had mixed results with this. If possible I would try to put the guides back on in the same places they were so that you can wrap over some of the mars.

If I remember right there is a flat and a mat black spray from Plasti Kote if you need to touch up. Doing what Emory says is easyer

Also try warming the old epoxy with a hair dryer to soften
