New Site E-mail Feature

I just noticed that when you click on a poster's name, you get their profile instead of a direct e-mail link. I assume that you don't even get that if the poster isn't registered. Is that feature going to be available in this version???

Hey Mike, I believe that if you are logged in, you will see their email address in their profile, if the poster is registered.

For those who have not registered, their name, when clicked should be a direct email link that should open up your email application if it is recognized by the browser you are using.

Ian: I'm registered, and to see how it works, I clicked on my own name in a post I made. It went to my profile, but that said my email was "Hidden." I then spent some time in "My Control Center" to try to change that status, but could not find a way to do it.

Your email address is not hidden. One way opens directly to the users email program, the other way opens to a profile, which also lists your email address.

Go to "Edit Email Settings," and then check the box beside "I confirm that this is my correct email address."

Checking that box did it, not "Hidden" any more.
