Saltwater seat built on Fuji Quick Lock

What kind of insert would you use if you were going to use the Fuji Quik Lock to build a fighting butt on the back? Also, is the Quik Lock removable, that is can you screw it all the way off, to store the rod in the tube? Re: Saltwater seat built on Fuji Quick Lock

The quiklock screws onto any of the same size Fuji seats, whether it be the full seat or the skeletons. If you are talking about the skeletons, any insert allowing you to tighten the seat on the reel foot will work.
The Quiklock also does screw right off if you want to remove it. The fighting butt uses the "KN" quiklock (with a seat hood). Re: Saltwater seat built on Fuji Quick Lock

You can just screw the hood up onto the barrel and it will fit standard tube sizes without having to remove the butt.
