Randy , depending on what kind of money you are looking to spend , you have quite a few potions. On my 9' 3wt , I have the following . 1st , and 2nd strippers #12,10 Titanium framed Fuji SIC fly strippers, followed by # 3 (4) REC recoil single foot fly guides, the rest are # 2 REC recoils , with a recoil tip. Super light guides , and it will make a big difference on a 3 wt that long . You could also go with allTitanium framed SICs, # 6s and # 5s for the runners. The REC tip top is alittle funny looking , but works great . I'm sure you will get a bunch of recomendations , but this is what I have on the one I have built for myself. Casts great , and is very light .The Recoils are fantastic. John

Randy,
You couldn't go wrong with the ATC single foot tichrome with zirconia ring ceramic guides. The stripper 12 double foot followed by size 10 fly single foot down to 6's to the tip. The zirconia ring in holographic or TiCH would complement well with that Matrix blank, or if you have gold trim or highlights the gold ring zirconia. Lots of possibilities here for appearance purposes. You'de find the functionality of the s.f. fly low frame guides with the smooth ring a nice performance asset.

I would personaly go with Forecast Guides for the money and quality. I use them on all my rods and they are great. Just my opinion.
