epoxy question...Please help!

Hey guys. Hopefully one day i can answer some ones question. How long can i wait until i apply another coat of epoxy? The coats are not real heavy and i am using flex coat high build.

As soon as your first coat is no longer sticky, you can move ahead with a second. This is generally about 12 to 24 hours depending on the finish used and temperature involved.

You said coats!!!!! How many coats have you put on and what kind of rod? With High Build, I can't imagine needing any more than 2 coats. Many only use one, depending on the rod.

Dan,
Tom is right, as soon as the first coat is dry. For really higher strength the mulitple coats are definitely a better way to go. The spring scale doesn't lie! Good luck with the rod!
