Spinning Rod Reel Seats

Hi All,

I have a couple of 4 or 5 year old Team Diawa Ultralight spinning rods that have a unique reel seat/handle assembly. I am trying to find something similar for a couple of rods I am now building. What makes them different is that the fore-grip cork is affixed to the reel locking ring. This means that when the reel is attached and locked in place there is no extra treaded portion of the reel seat, it is covered by the fore-grip. I find this more comfortable with Ultra-Lights. The size I am looking for is similar to the St. Croix SG-10.

Any ideas where I can find them, I have checked a dozen or more places with out luck.

Thanks

Jim

Sounds like the Fuji Quick-Lock type hoods or similar.

Custoum Tackle has the Quick lock listed on their web site along with the cork for them.

Jim-

If it is like either one of these it is a Quik Lock. Both of these are size 18s that I believe I got from Custom Tackle.

Email me directly if you have questions. I hope this helps. Good luck!
