Kate Davidson, Siskiyou Aviary, a sponsor of this site carries a great selection of feathers. Go to her website and choose a few; give her an email-she is great to deal with!!
Just scroll down and click on her business-it'll take you to her site.

I've tried my first inlay with a tip of a blue jay feather on a dark blue forecast blank. This is a very nice effect. As English is not my native language i hope i got the right name for the bird. Anyway the feather is alternating black and light blue.

Thank you Mr. Parpart for the nice words about the feathers. I do
have boxes of molted feathers perfect for inlays. Currently in
stock is the tiny Greys' Peacock Pheasant, Peacock body, from
the India Blue, Oaten, Java and Spalding. The Java is a very rich
dark blue green. Many varieties can be seen on the website:
[www.siskiyouaviary.com] or just email with questions.

Thank You,

Hidy Karel,

Your language is just fine. We don't speak English in Texas either.

Later,
