6'6" 2wt Forecast?

I was looking at the Forecast blanks on Hook and Hackle's site and noticed they have a 6'6" 2wt Forcast listed. I have not seen this listed on the Batson site or on any other vendors' sites. Does anyone know if this Is a new addition to the line-up, or is this just an incorrect listing?

I wondered the exact same thing yesterday but haven't e-mailed Bob yet to find out the answer. I'm broke right now anyway but let me know what you find out. That will be a future project for sure if it is a new model.

Mike,
The import Forecast blanks in those models we had were a clearance sellout a while back. We still have a few Rainshadow in the 6'6" 2 wt. You won't see them listed on our website.

Email them and ask. They are pretty helpful when a customer has questions.

I am currently finishing a Rainshadow 6'6" 2wt. It is not the Forcast blank but the Rainshadow blank. It is for a friend and it is a sweet little rod. I recommend it if you are considering a 2wt.

Sweet! I'm gonna have to buy that 6.5ft 2wt blank, just because it's so inexpensive. I have a nice down-lock struble cap and ring seat that I need to use up.....................hmmmm, might be a good fit. Nothing wrong with having two 6.5ft 2wt rods is there?

No, there is nothing wrong with having two 6'6" 2wts. I fish a PacBay rainforest 662, but like you, I'm going to have to build it just because it's too good of a deal to pass up.

You might also want to check into the new Matrix green AMF662 blank from American Tackle. These are currently available and becoming quite popular.
