Can anyone suggest a source for plastic bags for shipping your completed rods? Thanks!

I bought a roll of poly tubing 3 mil pretty good stuff. Only problem was I bought 2" stuff and they measure it flat so when you make a tube out of it is a lot smaller. Came in like 1200' roll. OK for small casting rods but not for rods with larger guides. Just tie a knot in the end and its a bag. They sell it in all sizes. 3"or 3 1/2" might work ok. Do a google search. ED... I only have about 1160' left of the small stuff.LOL

I got some 4" roll of plastic from a company in Kennesaw, Ga. I will try to find the name.
It is large enough for most any rod. It came in a 2000' plus roll.

I used to get them from Biscayne Rods in Miami, FL. They probably still carry them.

If you don't need a lot of them go to the local tackle store and some of the big stores and ask the managers to save the ones they get with the new rods . Works good if you talk to the right people and the don't destroy them when they open them . John
