Snake skin?

There was a company out of Oklahoma...Cameron Rods that used to put snakeskin on the butt section where a diamond wrap would usually go. It looked really unique. I saw that back in '95 or '96, and it may have very well been done before that. Andy Dear Lamar Reel Seats Re: Snake skin?

I tried to do somethig with it.. Couldn't get it to work, but I still have some skin left. Maybe I will try again, that was 7 years ago Terry Re: Snake skin?

What may be nice too is, using salmon skin. A company in Ireland are producing these. Some fabulous colors and apparently it's as tough as leather. You can see it at the url below, [www.irishsalmonskinleather.com] Re: Snake skin?

Brad, A friend of mine has one. It has a snake skin 'diamond wrap' and then the reel seat insert was skinned too. Looks pretty sharp. Thanks Rick Re: Snake skin?

I like snakes, most people don't. Some are protected, Timber Rattle snakes in TX are. What I have learned from talking about hatbands is the paterns on the young snakes is smaller and more conducive to crafts. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
