Finally (on about attempt # 4) managed to smooth out my inscription wrap. Sand and reapply Flex-Coat, you know the drill. But on this last effort I scuffed the blank just infront of the inscription wrap a little bit when sanding. Did not notice it (it isn't very noticeable...a very light scuff) until I had completed the Flex Coat job. Without adding more Flex Coat, is there anyway to "shine up" the scuff. Thought maybe a very light rub with varnish would work. Suggestions.. Keith Re: If it isn't one thing........

A light coat of Permagloss would be just the thing for the little scuff . No mixing , goes on smooth and light . JD Re: If it isn't one thing........

Try a light touch on a buffing wheel with a very fine grade of buffing compound. Depending on the depth and how much pressure you place on it, you can remove most of the scuffing. I've buffed out some dust marks as well as fingerprints left when I got too impatient. It's got to be a light touch though. Re: If it isn't one thing........

Try spraying with WD40 or Armor- All. Best wishes, Ron Schneider Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
