Does anyone know the name of the factory/company in China where Forecast blanks are made? I know their distributor, I just want to know exactly where they are actually made. Re: Forecast factory

That may vary from time to time. The best thing to do would be to contact the folks at Batson Enterprises and ask them. They'll have more accurate information on that than any of us. ............... Re: Forecast factory

Do you mean that they jump from one to another? How often? I know the 2003 and 2004's were from a different place. Re: Forecast factory

Most companies that do not make their own blanks, constantly switch suppliers. Most blank manufacturers make blanks for companies other than their own. It's economics. You'd have to sell a heck of a ot of rods/blanks to recoup the cost of a factory. Mike Re: Forecast factory

Joe, as Tom said, it will vary from time to time. There is no promises made. There are things that are fixing to affect allof us in the rod building, (and yes) even the major builders. And Bill, yes they switch according to the economics. I wish it were not true but it happens, and as the next year is starting to near, you will see more and more of it. Re: Forecast factory

I did contact Batson and they would not tell me the company/factory. Yes, they did change when they made the switch from the 2003 to 2004, but its not like they switch makers every year. In recent history, the Forecast line has only been made in two different factories in China. The rest of the string is beginning to stray from my main question. Someone out there must know or have a good idea of who makes the forecast blanks. Batson will not tell who makes them. Re: Forecast factory

That's sort of like asking who makes Craftsman tools!! What's the difference since they are made to the sellers specifications? Berkely isn't about to tell you who makes their blanks and if you think about it, why should they?? Mike Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
