I just finished a pool cue to look like a fishing rod, minus the guides of course, The butt is wrapped in Metalic Black w/ Metalic gold accents, and where the guides and tip-top would be a double helix type wrap was used, in the same gold over black metalic. A smooth flex coat epoxy on the shaft, w/ Hi-build over the "guides". Also a shark decal was placed on the butt section (pool shark). This is the first time I have done this, it looks kinda neat. A couple of years ago I did a pool cue for a friend who was in to Harley Bikes. I put a Harley decale weave on it with with a Hog Chopper weave. Then I took one link of small child's bicycle chain and had it laminated and used it for the butt cap. For me it was a lot of work Good Wraps Bob Re: Off the beaten path

I did one for a friend many years ago, Rod Bender (God, I wish that was my name!!!). It was a LOT of work; used a ton of thread weaving his full name into that pool cue. Putter Re: Off the beaten path
