On fishing rods you probably won't need a stronger bond that RodBond will give you. You would break any component on a rod before you would break the bond created by RodBond. But this also assumes that you do a good surface prep and are getting the best bond the epoxy has to offer. Re: My Rod Bond is Gelled

After contacting Lamiglas (Todd), Rod Bond was the only epoxy that they would suggest for attaching grips and reel seats to their titanium butted rod blanks. Putter Re: My Rod Bond is Gelled

Mr. Colby made a very important comment about the prep of the parts to be joined together. Make sure everything has been given a scuff with scotch brite or fine sand paper, it cant bond if it dosen't have a slightly rough surface to stick to. Re: My Rod Bond is Gelled

Great stuff. I just eyeball it when measuring, and have never had a problem. Try to get each sized 'balls' of each with a flat toothpick. Mix well and 'butter' on. Love the stuff. Fran Park wrote: Re: My Rod Bond is Gelled
