Gudebrod #840 Rod Finish?

Has anyone tried this product?It says ready to use rod finish,regular build,water based.this is a one part finish.I would like to try this over fully cured flexcoat.How do this compare to permagloss as far as durability,etc?Joel

Pretty good but you can't compare it to something like Permagloss for the long haul. I have used it on some quickie repairs though and it seems to be holding up pretty well. It is easy to use and easy to clean up.

Anybody try doing their wraps with #840 and then putting permagloss over it? I guess it would save breathing the xylene fumes somewhat, plus fast working time.
