Has anyone tried this product? It says ready to use rod finish, regular build, water based.this is a one part finish.I would like to try this over fully cured flexcoat. How do this compare to permagloss as far as durability, etc?Joel Re: Gudebrod #840 Rod Finish?

Pretty good but you can't compare it to something like Permagloss for the long haul. I have used it on some quickie repairs though and it seems to be holding up pretty well. It is easy to use and easy to clean up. Re: Gudebrod #840 Rod Finish?

Anybody try doing their wraps with #840 and then putting permagloss over it? I guess it would save breathing the xylene fumes somewhat, plus fast working time. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
