I want to build myself a pitchin' rod and was wondering how I would find the spine on a 7'6" telescopic blank? Thanks for any and all help. Bass wishes!

The last one I did for myself, not sure if this the best, but I found it on the just the long portion of the blank, did not take into account the short section for the handle.

You dont need to find it on the short piece.

Slide the long section out of the short handle piece and locate the spine on the long forward section. Then slide the section back through the short handle piece and build as usual.

I am sure you would do it just like a 4 pcs. pack rod.
