All Star BGSW1085-2

Anyone build on this AllStar blank? I've build the 1145/2 and 1265/2 (both killer surf sticks). Now I'm looking to make a 2-piece 9' rod for my brother. I want something that will toss 1 - 2.5 oz and maybe 1/2oz jigheads in a pinch. I'd be real curious if anyone has actually casted a fully built blank. I won't have a chance to wiggle it before I buy. Thanks in advance.

I have this blank wrapped up spinning. I like it very much. It has a different action (faster) than the 1145/2 and is great for poppers and metal and general surf plugging. It has a very large range. I throw small (3/4 oz) to large 3oz plugs with it all of the time. I have even thrown 4oz with it but that is the very top end. It has handled stripers to 25lb in a strong current. It is the rod that I carry in my vehicle with me all of the time during the surf season in the Northeast.
