As an afterthought to the previous question, what do you think of the Calstar Baby Boomer blanks for say black fin, yellow fin and if by chance a blue fin. Re: Afterthought

Calstar makes a first rate product. I have yet to use the exact blank you mention but the specs idicate it could be a good one. I have great confidence in their products. They have never let me down. Re: Afterthought

I built a stand-up tuna rod on a Baby-Boomer blank for myself. I used aftco HD roller guides and an aftco short bent - butt. The is with a doubt a killer rod if you know how to stand up and do battle. Capt. Steve Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
