Have been suffering through the side effects of Permagloss, urethane and epoxy for too long so picked up a 3M 6000 series respirator last week. What a change. It is now almost a pleasure to apply finish. Anyone else use one? Bob Re: Respirator

Boy, do I need that. Did you get that at one of the big-box hardware stores? Re: Respirator

Marc Got it at a local discount store in the paint department. I am sure that if you do an internet search you could find them. Paid $29.99 which included a set of dust filters and a set of organic vapor filters. Re: Respirator

Yep, I use one for a lot of the rodmaking process. I use it when I'm turning a grip (although you could just use a good dust mask), turning an insert, applying varnish to wraps or dipping a rod. No use asking for trouble. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
