Hello: Does anyone have any experience with fly rods or blanks from the Damon Rod Company in New York? I was wondering about the quality of their offerings. They sell several series of fly blanks at very reasonable prices. I was thinking of ordering a few blanks. I have viewed their web site and their rods look real nice. Thank you for your time! Hi Lanny, A friend of mine did some building on these rods. He had some problems with a certain model blank. If you want further details you can email me at steelheader@buffalo.com Sincerely, Dan Colville Re: Damon Rods/Blanks

I have built a couple of rods on Damon blanks and have not had any problems with them. Check out their reel seats too, they are really nice. Re: Damon Rods/Blanks

Have tried one. Okay but nothing special. I'd rather use a rainshadow or St. Croix SCIII. Re: Damon Rods/Blanks

Lanny, The Damon blanks are Rainshadow RX7, RX8, and Tigereyes. Thanks, Rick Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
