News about new type of cork ring?

I read recently on this message board about a new type of synthetic cork ring that was being sold. It is not the rubberized type, but has the same approximate color as the ordinary cork ring, however,in searching I have not been able to find the message. Can any one help me with this? Thanks in advance.

Corkalon was sold by Pacific Bay some time ago and they may still offer it. Similar to EVA but very dense, it looks somewhat like cork, is nearly as firm, but somewhat heavier. Well, a lot heavier, actually.
