I have a hexagraph blank I am contemplating building with either REC single foot wires, ceramics, or if I must, double foot RECS. The tip section is very small in diameter. The doubles will fit, but what is the narrowest single foot out there to avoid a bunch of grinding? Re: single foot ceramic fly guide with narrowest foot

Don , the REC Recoils have very narrow feet , although the only ones I've used have been the smaller sizes 2s,& 3s. They wrapped onto 2wt blanks with no additional gringing on the sides. Hope this helps , John Re: single foot ceramic fly guide with narrowest foot

Alconites I believe are the narrowest footed ceramics. About the same as the #1 single foot wire guide. Re: single foot ceramic fly guide with narrowest foot
