I just got back from attempting to fly fish in salt water. Several problems. Not the least of which is that my arm and shoulder are only good for 10 to 15 casts and not real long ones at that. I have seen something about 2 handed saltwater rods (specifically said they were not spey rods, but rather rods meant to be cast 2 handed). Anybody know anything about these. Something around 10 or 11 feet, around 9 wt. And how do you control the line with 2 handed casting. I tried it with my 9 wt with the little knob on the botton and it does seem a lot more powerful than 1 handed casting. Re: 2 handed salt water rod

Talk with Bob (R.B.) Meiser about one of his fine switch rods, link to the left. If you can do it with two hands, Bob has done it. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
