What would be the largest inside diameter on a performed cork grips available, the blank butt is .700 diameter. Trying to save some labor time without doing individual cork rings. Just curious why on handle kits they don't give you the id of the cork components. Any help would be appreciated. Re: Preformed grips

On fly rod grips it usally 1/4" on casting typicaly is .340". If interested we can ream the cork grip to the smallest part of were the grip will sit on the blank. Thanks, Scott Melton Rod-Blanks.com @BlackBear Pontoons Inc. Co 206-372-9998 Re: Preformed grips

If I remember right Angler's Workshop gives that info in their catalog and on their website. They also sell a cork grip that is a larger diameter than most you see in catalogs, the STBG8, 11 inches long, inside diameter of .6 inches, OD of 1.3 inches instead of the more normal 1.1 inches. Like Scott said most handles have an ID of between .25 and .44 inches out the door. Re: Preformed grips

Thank you, for the replies. I'll check out the .600 with a 1.3 od. Should give me enough cork after the reaming. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
