I am looking for a good set of re and blue dyed burl rings. Which company has the best ones. I need ones where the color stands out. They are to match a brown blank and a bluish green blank. I want the blue and red to stand out as much as possible. If there isnt any good rings, is there a place that sells dye to do it myself. Instructions are welcome from anyone who has dyed there own burl Tight wraps, ~Don~ <°)>}}}}}}}}}}}}}>< Re: Dyed Burl Rings

I've thought about trying to dye some but never have. I was told that if you add some vinegar to the dye it will make the color 'lock' in to the object being dyed. Otherwise when it gets wet the dye will leach out. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
