Does anyone have a color sequence for a shaded chevron? I can't find my issue of RM which had the sequence in it. Thanks for the help, Steve Re: Sequence for shaded chevron

What color scheme do you want? For a blue, try white, white and light blue, light blue, light blue and dark blue and finally dark blue. For a flame effect go from white, yellow, orange and finally red mixing the colors as you go along to achieve the pattern you want. You may want to leave out the white and go with different shades of yellow, orange and red then bracket the chevron in black. Re: Sequence for shaded chevron

5-1 4-2 3-3 2-4 1-5-1 4-2 3-3 2-4 1-5 ... and so on and so forth. Vary your start numbers depending upon how subtle you want the effect to be. ........................ Re: Sequence for shaded chevron

Thanks Tom for the number sequence and thanks to Ellis also. The blue shaded chevron was what I was thinking about. I made a flyrod using the three shades of gudebrod green and wanted to do the same on my next flyrod but different color. Thing is I forgot how many threads I used in the sequence. Geuss I should've wrote that part down. DOH! Thanks, Steve Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
