OK, this is probably going to sound like a stupid question, but here it goes: I purchased an American Tackle Power Wrapper a couple of months ago and I have just recent,y found time to begin using it. Anyhow, my question is, what is the best way to setup this machine? I have a very limited work space which consists of a couple tables at the moment. I really don't have the room to setup a whole new workbench. Can (should) this machine be permanently fixed to a table top or workbench? I was thinking about fixing it to a 1" X 12" X 8' board to make it more portable. Any good suggestions out there? Re: AM Tackle Wrapper Setup Question

Tom , I used mine in my living room when I first got it . I would bolt it together and set it on my coffee table , then support the end with a milk crate and magazines for height . As long as the joint where the 2 base sections go together are supported , you will be fine . The only problems I had were the thing moving around when I bumped into it , because it wasn't bolted to anything .The 1x12 sounds like a good idea. Have fun with it , they make life easy . Tom, If you can find a smooth face door that is being discarded you can buy a set of folding table legs and attach them. Now you have a light weight work table. I have a hollow core door without the cut for a door knob that I found along the road. It works great for many things, including holding my fly vise and other toys while I struggle along. It weighs little and gets put away after use. Can be slid under a bed, etc. Cheaper than buying a folding table too! Ray Re: AM Tackle Wrapper Setup Question

Tom, In my wrapping room I took some discarded plywood and made a bench that is 2 ft wide and 10' long. But if you don't have the room what you are wanting to do will work. Like John said you need to make sure you have support were the joint is. Good Wraps, Neal Cissel Neal's Fishing Products Re: AM Tackle Wrapper Setup Question

Thanks Guys... I think I'll secure it to the board and try this bad boy out soon! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
