I was just wondering on where I could buy an inexpensive but good quality rod spinner? I started to build a rod, I had a rod spinner but got lost when I moved. All I need to do is wrap the guides and glue them. And I would complete my very first rod (St. Croix). I'd appreciate any advice. Also, one other question. To remove the damaged guide, use a razor blade to slice the wrap off the top of the guide foot/feet. Do not cut against the blank, only the metal portion of the guide feet. Slice or shave, instead of cutting down and into. Peel the wrap off and remove the guide. Most of the epoxy should come with it. Any remaining epoxy can be removed by heating with a hair dryer and removing with a thumbnail or something like a plastic butter knife. ...................... Re: Dave
