If you build, restore or refinish cane and and live in the mid west you may be interested to know that Pratt and Lamberts #61 spar varnish is presently in stock (as we speak) in Carthage Mossouri, at Galbraith's (1-417-358-4484) and at Frab Building Ctr. In Jefferson City, Mo (1-573-636-6183). And the nice lady at Pratt and Lambert told me both will ship UPS. Did I do Good This Morning?? Don Greife

John, I finally found the right combination of 'characters' to get to Pratt and Lambert's site ---prattandlambert.com---. They have a store locator map but it didn't help me much so I called their 800 number and "press 6" and talked with a really helpful lady. Told her my sad story about having to drive all the way to central Arkansas for a quart of #61 and she searched out 2 suppliers that had some in stock. One is about 75 miles and the other is about 100 miles.. But at least I found some. Hope you find some close. Don
