I think the Perigee line of blanks are discontinued. Maybe someone else can confirm this, but you should go to Clemens Tackle for a list of the blanks they have. Re: Lamiglas Perigee fly blanks ??

The lamiglas website makes no mention of a discontinue. I wrote Todd an email about it. I hope not, because these blanks are fanatstic. I built one for a friend awhile back, and he has told me his factory Sage doesn't even come out of the closet anymore. Re: Lamiglas Perigee fly blanks ??

I really like mine. It's a 9' 6/7wt. 2pc. that I use to fish giant, lead-eyed streamers. It will also easily throw an 8 wt. line and big deer-hair popping bugs too. And, the finish of the blank is the best around, IMO. Really, really pretty. Re: Lamiglas Perigee fly blanks ??

Thanks guys for setting the record straight. I stand corrected. The reason I suspected the Perigee line may have been discontinued is because of my prior problems with a couple of Perigee blanks that I returned to Lamiglas. I found out later that they no longer made that particular model and I searched for a substitute Perigee blank. What I found is that I no longer saw the same assortment of Perigee blanks previously offered and erroneously concluded that the Perigee line may have been discontinued and the dealers are selling off their stock. That is why I asked for confirmation. Anyway, me wrong, you right. Sorry. Re: Lamiglas Perigee fly blanks ??

I've only built a few, but one was a 9' 8/9 wt fly rod that the customer took to Nantucket to fish with a guide. The guide tried the Perigee and said that he liked it much better than the Orvis that he was using. That's a pretty good recommendation in my book. Re: Lamiglas Perigee fly blanks ??
