After reading the Rodmaker article, I built my own. I used a roller blade wheel w/bearings and a 1/2" dowel about 2" long. I turned one end of the dowel down to the size of the bearings axle, then turned the other end down to a cone. I glued the wheel to a short 2x4. If you build rods with bigger butts you might have to use a bigger dowel. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
