Felt bags for rods

Can anyone suggest a company that sells felt rod bags that hold a one piece 7'6" baitcasting rod. It should be about 3" wide. I used to order them to be made up, but I am sure someone out there has them in stock. They don't necessarily have to be felt, but that material is soft and easy on the rod. Thanks for any help. It will save me from calling every company that sells rods.

Try Angler's Workshop.

Girlfriend went to the fabric store and bought some flannel for my rods. I laid the rods out on the cloth, folded the cloth over the rods and custom cut to go around the guides. Ended up being real cheap after she sewed them up :)

Can I borrow your girfriend? My wife can't sew. (lol) Thanks for the info.

Good but not cheap. Girl has a knack for threadwork. She wrapped a striper rod on my lathe about 8 years ago after about an hour of instruction. If she would really get into rod building, she could do some pretty work. Heck of a fisherwoman also.

Goes for my wife too, the first wooly bugger she ever tied is still better than mine after 7 years of tying!!! She has done some pretty nice rod wrapping too.

You just can't figure women out. My wife is a very good seamstress and an artist. I ask her about helping me wrap my rods as I thought she would do a better job than I. She agreed that she could do better, but told me to go to the shop and hold my breath till she got there.........

They "PLAY" fish instead of fighting them, and can usually land em all...go figure.....women are better anglers i'm afraid..i've seen it to many times......so it's a bitter pill...... but nice to watch.
