? for Alps users

I use my Alps printer to make waterslide decal labels that I apply to the top of aluminum rod tubes w/ my logo and pertinent rod information. I then coat with wrap epoxy. I would like to use my logo on the side of the rod tube, and stay with the waterslide paper (I may be forced to use vinyl). Does anybody have any ideas on what I could use to coat over the decal, something durable that I could spray/dip/brush on the outside of the aluminum tube?? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

BTW I use my Alps for all of my rod inscriptions, rod tube labels, and iron on logos for my rod bags. It was definately worth the investment.

Mike on the Alps site there was a link to a story on using the printer for making bumper stickers with vinyl and how to seal them,I think you would find it far better then water slide for your application

Thanks John,
I was hoping not to use viynl (trying to avoid the "sticker" look). I like the way the waterslide paper makes it look like I painted the logo on the tube cap.
I cannot find the link on the Alps webpage. I know of only one Alps URL it is www.alpsusa.com, is this the URL you were speaking of?
Best Regards,
